Summit Non-Display Handheld Fetal Doppler
Ultrasound Doppler systems are the machines used to hear a fetus’s heartbeat while it is still in its mother’s womb. Summit Doppler Systems is the leading manufacturer of this type of prenatal medical equipment and has been developing the latest trends in Doppler systems for over thirty years.

Ultrasound Doppler Systems, also called “Baby Dopplers,” are important tools in maintaining the health and wellness of both the fetus and the mother during pregnancy. Fetal Dopplers allow physicians to monitor a baby’s venous blood flow to make sure that its cardiovascular system is developing correctly, as well as its peripheral arterial blood flow, to make sure that its heart is strong and capable of supporting its body after the pregnancy. There are many different kinds of Summit Doppler Systems as the company offers a complete line of equipment for fetal monitoring.

Summit Doppler offers a variety of tools to perform the Ankle Brachial Index Exam, more commonly known as the ABI Exam. The Ankle Brachial Index refers to the ratio of blood pressure in the fetus’s arms compared to blood pressure in the fetus’s legs. If the blood pressure in the baby’s legs is significantly lower than that of the blood pressure in the arms, this could indicate Peripheral Vascular Disease, or PVI, which is a serious prenatal condition that can result in blocked arteries. Summit Doppler makes five different machines which perform the ABI exam, including two handheld devices and three larger machines with rolling monitors.

Summit Doppler is the leading manufacturer of hand-held Baby Dopplers, which allow the mother to monitor her baby’s heartbeat in the comfort of her own home. Each handheld doppler has great sound quality, easy-to-follow instruction manuals, and a lifetime warranty. Some models have display screens which show and record the baby’s heartbeat data so it does not need to be recorded by hand.

Though handheld monitors are easy to use, many doctor’s offices prefer table top Dopplers, such as Summit’s LifeDop L350 series. This Doppler has two probes, excellent sound quality, and can be placed on a rolling stand if needed.

One of Summit’s most popular products is its FetalGard Lite Fetal Monitor. This rolling monitor performs a variety of pre-natal tests and can be used in the home or office. It comes with a software package, lifetime warranty, carrying case, important even marker, belts for mothers carrying single babies and twins, and much more. Though it comes with a rolling stand, it can be packed up and is light enough to be transported easily.

Summit Doppler Systems does not only make Doppler Machines, but also offers a variety of accessories for any of their Baby Doppler models, including roll stands, security belts, extra probes and chords, speakers, software, and more.

The ABI test is fast and painless, and does not require entering the body, so ankle brachial index doppler is must.

You only need to use standard blood
pressure cuffs and a Nicolet Hand Held Doppler, ankle brachial index doppler to listen and look at the blood flow
